Retro Mercury, Saturn and Mars also have our energy backed up, confused and internalized. We must be careful with erratic communication, speak slowly and thoughtfully. Later in the week as Venus changes signs and the Moon enters Sagittarius we will feel more connected. A great week for meditation and not much else. Of course you can listen to it on your ipod.  Current Astro Sky: Rx-Saturn in Cancer, Jupiter in Libra, Sun and Rx-Mercury in Scorpio, Venus in Sagittarius, Ketu in Virgo, Rx-Mars in Aries, Rahu in Pisces   Sun / Rx Mars / Rx Saturn / Rx Mercury affecting Scorpio - There is a lot of energy focused around the sign of Scorpio right now. Scorpio is the field of the female/reflective power of Mars. Mars is the planet of toughness and strength, thus Scorpio will try to toughen us up internally by facing fears directly and taking action against our vulnerabilities. Sometimes these fears are imagined, other times they are real, either way, fear is fear, and Mars is a Tamasic planet, motivated to remove fear and fix problems. The Sun entered Scorpio on 11/15 and will remain there until 12/15. When the Sun is in Scorpio we turn our attentions inward toward strengthening our hidden vulnerabilities and fears. This may cause us to end the things we do not feel are taking us closer to truth, or at least struggle with them and psychologically wrestle with them. The Sun is the main planet of the personal sacrifices made for the soul to follow the light of truth. The Sun burns up the impurities wherever he goes. In Scorpio he will try to purify our fearful nature. Thus, weak points in our relationships will become issues now, as the Sun passing through Libra was more willing to tolerate and compromise. Retrograde Mercury is here also adding a probing and intense intellect, that is not always objective, as is the nature of Mercury. Lord Budha (Mercury) is the quality of our equanimity of mind and ballanced assessment of the details, which allow us to speak clearly and act fairly. Scorpio is not balanced or fair, it has made a decision and wants to act upon that decision, thus the passions of Scorpio may have our communications disrupted now, plunged into excessively emotional waters.  Retro Mars aspecting the Sun in Scorpio will add courage to this intensity and drive to strengthen. Also retrograde Saturn in a tight square to Mars is bringing an internal awareness of the practical determined effort and work that must be brought to bear if progress is to be made. Saturn is also rasi aspecting Scorpio, increasing our practical awareness of the limitation we must acknowledge. Saturn began his retrograde motion last Tuesday night and thus we will be revisiting some issues revolving around the sign of Cancer, which also refers to strengthening our emotional state. Cancer and Scorpio are both water signs, related to the emotions, yet Scorpio is one of inner upheavals and fears being strengthenede and Cancer is more the field of seeking emotional peace and comfort. Scorpio will actively seek weakness to strenthen, Cancer will actively seek emotional peace. Saturn's transit through Cancer has been a time where we have been strengthening our tendency to gather things and collect them in order to feel safe emnotionally. Saturn will teach us to let go of things we have gathered just to feel connected. However much peace we attached to the things we are collecting, Saturn will try to unburden us of. he will show the limitations of external peace. His retro motion may end relationships, bring an old lover into the fold so we can finish our karma there, or many other things, depending on what Cancer and Saturn are specific to each chart.    The New Moon on 11/30 will occur almost exactly at Sunrise, joined the ascendant PST. This New Moon cycle in Scorpio (Anuradha nakshatra) will show a continuing them of the pursuit of social justice, with Jupiter in Libra in the 12th, especially globally. Thye Nakshatra of Anuradha is ruled by Saturn, whose lord is retrograde in the 9th from the New Moon ascendant. Lord Saturn is also square and in sambandha w/ Mars (mutual aspect) - Mars is also aspecting this ascendant AND is the lord, also of Retro Merc in the first. So once again Lord Mars is very powerful and influential this next month. It should be another aggravating one globally. We may see a crisis with oil this next month, and tension about that. Also some difficulties with children worldwide may be expected for the next month. (Jupite rin 12th) Seismic activity around this time and into early december is certainly likely as well. There have been several lardge earthquakes in recent days that shows this. (China and Iran) The effect of 3 retrograde Planets is noticeable. 11/29-12/3 especially for Earthquakes. The recent wave of global political scandals has been happening, from Britain, Canada, Iran and the US still, Jupiter in Libra exchanging w/ Venus and aspected by Mars is showing this. Actually courts and the Judiciary worlwide are fron and center. Saddam Husseins trial getting a lot of press and notice as I have been mentioning about Jupiter in Libra.                 A FREE EXAMPLE of the daily forecast from a few weeks ago.  Daily Moon Report: I will include the planetary energy at the beginning of each explanation from now on for those students of Astrology. The forecast will show the Lord of Day / Sign / Nakshatra / Tithi– just as it is written.  Thursday: Leo (Magha\Purva Phalguni) Jupiter|Sun|Ketu\Venus - 11th Tithi Ekadashi (Rudra - Fasting, Remembering God) The Moon will continue through the sign of Leo today. Debilitated Sun in Libra is joined Jupiter, bringing a mindset of expansion, yet we may be mainly interested in worldly expansion as Libra is a very worldly sign. These two sattwic planets (Sun and Jupiter) are best used to keep us on the higher course toward truth and deliverance. They are not so preoccupied with the world generally, this is the inherent struggle of Jupiter and the Sun in Libra. So we may have some gains in our interpersonal relationships at this time, but we may sacrifice the higher transpersonal vision. Today reach out and share yourself with underlings and subordinates. A good day for fasting is the 11th lunar day. Friday: Leo (Purva Phalguni) Venus|Mercury|Venus - 12th Tithi (Sun - Cermonies w/Fire -Spirituality) The Moon will be in the nakshatra of Purva Phalguni today. This is a very indulgent section of the zodiac, perhaps the most indulgent. Rule by Bhaga, the God of delight. With Venus at the edge of Scorpio about to change signs, we must be careful not to overindulge today. Friday is also ruled by Venus, so there will be a very powerful Venus energy today. A good day to cook and be involved with fire also, as Leo is involved with fire and the 12th lunar day has to do with fire. Also a good day to ask that special someone out for date!.
